The British Life and Internet Project is a collaboration between the Independent Digital Group, Sheffield University, The City University and eDigitalResearch.com.

Its aim is to regularly review and map the use of the Internet in the UK and its effect on the lifestyle and behaviour of its citizens.

Surveys will be conducted on a regular basis on various topics. The first commenced in December 2002, being research into Christmas Shopping. Further surveys are continuing throughout 2003
